The Cypress city calendar is genuinely good. The problem is that it lives on a municipal website nobody checks, so most people find out about half of it the week after.
Here's the fall in one place, pulled straight from the list I keep on the events page.
First: the Community Festival, September 26
Oak Knoll Park, noon to 7pm, free admission. The chili and salsa cook-off, the classic car show, and a kids area that doesn't cost anything. If you only do one thing on this list, do this one.

I keep a calendar file with the dated events in it. Download it once and the dates land in Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, so you stop finding out about things after they happen.

If you just moved here and youth soccer is one of your first questions, I wrote down the difference between AYSO and club and what Saturdays at Lexington Park feel like.
Read the youth soccer guide →One more thing worth knowing: Cypress turns 70 this year, and the city has programming spread across the whole year rather than one big day.
